Most of the time, probably 99% of the time, I really love and enjoy being with my husband. There is no one else I want to spend every single second of every day with.

But

Don’t you just love it when your husband tells you, “just snap out of it.” We would if we could. Snapping out of our anxiety thought process (the hamster on the wheel) takes a LOT of other thoughts to stop it.

It’s difficult isn’t it?

“Just snap out of it,” doesn’t help us, not even a teeny tiny bit. “Just snap out of it” tells me that he doesn’t care. Would you ever tell anyone you know to “just snap out of it”? We know we need tools to get off the anxiety wheel.

Sure, we would love to SNAP OUT OF IT – and wish we could wiggle our nose or nod our head or have Scotty beam us up, but it’s not happening any time soon.

Men and women are wired differently. There is an article waiting to be written and it has something to do with these differences. Trying to organize and process these thoughts, need to do a little research, and a lot of reading before I spit it out.

This is why I am doing this blog. I need this to keep me out of trouble. I need it to give my thoughts some place to run to, and to reach out to see if I’m the only one with these thoughts or if these are somewhat normal.

Please, if you liked this little blurb, share it with your friends.
