Anonymous is curious, “Has anyone tried CBD for anxiety and depression.

I have been on 10 mg of Citralopram for almost a year. Helped at the beginning but now I need to up the dosage. I tried that with horrible side effects.

I’m desperate for some relief!

  1. Have used it to sleep- medical marijuana gummy. Take 1/2 or 1/4. Guarantees 2-3 hours of restful sleep with no hangover. Son uses it for muscle/joint pain and is very effective.

  2. I have, and have done some research about how it works on the endocannabinoid system. What I will say is that ‘CBD’ is not all created equal. If you live in a legal state, I would try to get sungrown, whole plant extract in a 20:1 ratio. ( that ‘1’ won’t make you high, but it helps the CBD work well. The reason you want sungrown is because it is more likely to use less chemical fertilizers. (In California we are developing a testing system to certify product as organic) I have a sister who has been on Celexa for years for anxiety, and also had her dose increased with side effects. She started CBD and is on a very low dose now.

  3. I have. It took a while to work. I really didn’t notice it help until I ran out. I promptly went and got more. I don’t take everyday anymore but really helped while I was going through some stuff.
