Annette wanted to share this:

“I am lucky enough to have four wonderful friends! I’ve known most of them for over 20 years and we get together every now and again for lunch… chatter and laughter!

We go away twice a year for a few days to escape our routine and have a bit of fun… with lots of eating… chatting and drinking wine!

We’ve all been through tough times and we are able to share our experiences and talk about our problems together. I am blessed to have such a true friendship with each and every one of my four friends.

I would like to know if others out there have long lasting friendships?”

  1. I am blessed to have a few very close friends that meet regularly monthly and often weekly. We have been friends over 25 years. We are each other’s sos’s when we need an ear or a shoulder or a ride. God has blessed us all richly in giving us the gift of friendship.

  2. one Of my closest friends is Of 44 years and the other 35 . Both from different towns . Fantastic close friends We have shared many many laughter and tears and confidences over the years . I wouldn’t trade them for all the money in the world as the saying goes .”True Friends are like diamonds precious and rare fake friends are like autumn 🍂 leaves found everywhere “💓💓

  3. I have my sister from another Mother! She is 6 months older then my self, my parents lived across the street from her parents. Her sister is the same age as my sister! Her Mom baby set my sister before I was born, when I was born and my mom went back to work just a week later, so I went across the street with my sister and was put in the same crib with my sister from a different Mother 65. 1/2 years ago! Her mom would dress us a like as she would make our cloths. Her children and my children call each other cousin, and we are Aunt to each others kids! We are very close! I Love Her💕

  7. My best friend for 44 years comes to visit for Thanksgiving every other year. We don’t talk every day, we text if something needs to be shared but when we are together, it feels like we are teenagers all over again.

  8. I am fortunate to still be in touch with a friend I made in the second grade. We don’t get to see each other very often. Another dear friend from 30+ years recently visited and we took up as if we’d never been apart. I miss these dear gals every day.

  9. Annette,I have friends from my school days, almost fifty to fifty five years.Nothing between us has changed, only thing is that we don’t live in the same city but we meet whenever possible. We remain connected by phone or what’s app.

  10. I have two I have known since grade school (probably 50 years?) I don’t see them often enough but when we do its wonderful. I have handful of local “tribes women” I’ve known for 20 years and we get together once a year for a weekend of us time. these women inspire me and I love them for it.

  11. I have several as well. Our friendships are so diverse that it’s not normal that we get together as a group. I do enjoy coffee once a mth or so with 1(known about 50yrs), once in a while w/1 (busy grandma life known 53 yrs) 1 I see about once a yr but at times we talk daily (known 45yrs)1, i hear from 1 once a yr on my bday.(53 yrs ) I enjoy our stories and feel no hurt by lack of contact. And still cherish their friendship and know that I can still count on them to bend their ear , give sound advice, cherish my secrets, genuinely pray for me love me they are my sisters of the heart
