What exactly is GreyFeathers.com about? Great question.
“Galline vecchie fanno buon brodo,” (old chickens make good broth) is a common saying in Italy. Essentially it means as women age, they become well rounded in every sense. Mentally, physically, emotionally, and they have awesome perspective.
The first time my Italian friend said that to me I thought it was brilliant.
I do not hold a degree in anything. I am just a woman, a wife, a mother, a sister and one time long ago, a daughter. This blog is opinion only. With that said, I am writing because I think there needs to be a place where women, in their 40’s-90’s, have a place to commiserate, laugh, share, and to see that we are all the same.
I wish for this blog to be a place where you spend 10 minutes of your day or week to kick back and nod your head, “yep, I’ve been there…”
Tell me your stories! Share with me your joys and struggles and achievements. I want to share them with everyone else who is reading.
I know we are the same on the inside.
Because we are older chickens and yes, we do make good broth.
